CPR/Health & Safety Training
All training will take place at the Las Cruces office, unless otherwise noted.
Payment & Refund notice:
There are no refunds. If you are unable to attend a class for which you have registered, please contact our office a minimum of three (3) days prior to the class date. At that time, we will reschedule you to another class or offer you space to another student on your behalf. Payment must be received no later than three (3) business days prior to start of class. All class availability is on a first come first serve basis.
Community First Aid & Safety (CFAS)
Cost: $50 ($45 w/o basic First Aid) Length: 8 hours (4:50 hours w/o basic First Aid)
This course, which meets the Occupational Safety & Health Adminstration (OSHA) guidelines for First Aid training, includes certification in Adult, Child & Infant CPR. Participants will learn to:

Check an ill or injured person

Perform Adult, Child and Infant CPR

Adminster First Aid for soft tissue injuries abd injuries to bones, mucles and joints

Care for sudden illness
CPR for the Professional Rescuer
Cost: $55
Length: 9 hours
This course is designed for healthcare providers, lifeguards, police and fire personnel, includes cerfication in CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Participants will learn to :
- Prevent amd respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in people of all ages
- Perform single- and two-resucer CPR
- Use resuscitation and bag valve mask
- Perform CPR with and without an AED
Workplace Training (WP)
Cost: $45 ($40 w/o basic First Aid)
Length: 6:30h (5 h w/o basic First Aid)
This course, which meets OSHA guidelines for First Aid training, includes certification in Adult CPR, AED and First Aid. It does not cover Child and Infant CPR. Upon request the following segment can be added: Bloodborne Pathogens - Preventing Disease Transmission. Participants will learn to:
- Perform Adult CPR, control bleeding and care for suddent illnesses and injuries
- Take basic precautions to prevent disease transmission
- Proper use of an AED
